Having thin skin is not alpha. And reacting emotionally is not appealing. Taking things personal all the time will cause you to be negative and feel attacked. To be alpha, you need to learn ways to make sure you react in the best way possible or learn to not take things personal at all, in order to maintain your own state and frame.
Often times, the truth is, what someone says about someone else, is not really true. But the way a person hears it, interprets it, and accepts it, can impact someone’s own feelings, emotions, and self esteem. This happens when a person doesn’t know who they are. Because if a person truly knew themselves, they could easily realize that some of the personal attacks or comments or judgements are completely wrong and inaccurate/false. However, many people are too beta to realize, and they don’t know themselves well enough.
Whether you take the time to really know who you are or not. You need to learn how to regulate your emotions and not take things personal, especially if you want to be alpha. Being reactionary is very beta male. And you don’t want to be caught crying or yelling or throwing a fit.
Do you think an alpha male is going to go yelling “you hurt my feelings!”. No man.
So instead, realize that even if you are impacted by what someone says. The deed is done. Your job is to cool off and react accordingly. But don’t react based on your emotions. Because that will be impulsive. Figure out what works best for you. Sometimes this means going for a walk, or removing yourself from the situation, so you can take some time to cool off. Some cold water on the face or some other distraction. If you are going to react with anger or emotions, at least wait until you have had time to think it through.
Beta males will try to get a reaction out of you. And if you are beta, you will react. Hurt people, hurt people. But guess what makes people really hurt? Not reacting. And living a good life.
Don’t play their games.
Be strong. Be Bold. Be Alpha.
