So many people think they know what it means to be Alpha. Other’s think it is something toxic.
By the dictionary’s definition is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and also defined as “something first”.
We don’t often use the phrase Alpha Male since Alpha is Alpha to us, but for a broader audience, in order to convey an idea, it is necessary
The truth is, Alpha is whatever you want it to be.
The same as it is with your life. It is whatever you want it to be.
To believe there is some set rule of what is Alpha and what is Beta would be conforming to ideals of the average. And we have no real desire to be average.
Average is middle of the pack. The place where people go and reminisce about the glory days or what they could have done or what they should have done. It’s where people go to live comfortable, having given up on their life dreams to surf the internet and doom scroll on social media.
But don’t get me wrong. There are a lot of people that have money, or have built something other’s envy, or have material items that other’s desire, but it doesn’t mean they are Alpha.
Truth be told, these losers are easy to spot.
Real Alpha is being who you want to be, because it’s who you want to be.
All the money. All the fancy things. All the praise. It’s external. Once it’s gone, you only have yourself.
And this is what separates the winners from the losers.
The ones that know who they are. Know what they are capable of. And do it for themselves.
They obtain what they want. They pursue what they dream. They have goals that they’ll never likely achieve but pursue endlessly. Because Alpha is first. And if you aren’t first. Are you even Alpha?
Being Alpha is about being proud of your life. It’s about having what makes you happy. It’s about being who you believe you should and could be. It’s about fulfilling your purpose in life and continuing to pursue more – because you can. There can always be enough, but there can always be more.
The worse thing you can do for yourself is to settle. You know it, and I know it. And a lot of you reading this have already settled. The good thing is, you can actually decide to strive again. It’s a personal choice.
Maybe it’s time to stop being a loser and asking what Alpha is, and just start being it.
How about it?
Be Bold. Be Alpha.
