  • How Bad Do You Want It?

    They often say “If there is a will, there is a way.”

    Do you have what it takes to achieve what you want?

    You can only control what you can control. Whether you get what you want is not always in your hands but you will get what you deserve.

    Results come from consistent actions, effort and patience. It also requires doing the hard work – which isn’t always easy to know what that is or why this is so.

    Think about this for awhile without any distractions and I think you will understand.

    Be Bold. Be Alpha.

  • Alpha Is A MINDSET

    What you are is what you believe you are.

    Without belief or the right mindset, you can try but you will ultimately fail to be alpha.

    There is a saying, “FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT” … and some people will say you are lying to yourself if you do that, but that is incorrect. Who is decides who is what and what is who? Ultimately it comes down to the individual. Not what someone else thinks of you.

    So if you want to be Alpha, start with believing you are. And if you aren’t, it’s time to start believing. And then getting things in order to make that belief a reality.

    We can all tell each other that other people’s opinions matter and if they don’t view you or someone else a certain way, whatever that label is, then you aren’t “that” thing…and there can be a case to be made for that but it’s a weak one.

    What matters is what YOU think because it is YOU that decides how YOU want to be and what YOU want to be.

    So the question is, do YOU want to be Alpha? If so, then start with the mindset of how you view yourself and the type of person and the life you want. Go from there.

    Alpha is not a switch. It’s a choice. And it must be lived.

  • Did you really give your best?

    If you can answer the question and sleep and wake up the next day, the answer is probably not.

    Don’t let yourself down forever.

    Be bold. Work Hard. Actually pursue your dreams. Be Alpha.

  • Only You Can Save You

    No one is coming to save you. And even if they do, the help will be temporary. You need to make a choice.

    If you are ready to improve your life, you will know it. You will be frustrated, you will feel stuck, you will feel like you are helpless.

    The truth is, you can help yourself.

    Stop waiting for someone to lend you a hand.

    • Stop waiting for someone to give you a hand out.
    • Stop waiting for someone to feel sorry for you.
    • Stop waiting for someone other than yourself to start caring.
    • Stop waiting for the right answers or the secret phrase that will change your life.
    • Stop waiting for motivation.

    There’s only one thing you can do.

    One thing.

    That is to do something different.

    • Stop doing the same thing that you do every day.
    • Stop thinking the same way you do every day.
    • Stop looking at the same stuff.
    • Stop doing more of what doesn’t work.

    You can’t change your life in a day.

    It will take time.

    Be honest with yourself.

    You have a long road ahead. It may be uncomfortable. There will be times you want to quit. You might go backwards.

    But you have a choice. And you can continue to go forwards, go backwards, stay where you are, or go two steps forward and one step back and repeat.

    Figure what what your goal is. That is your purpose. That is where you find motivation.

    Remember what your goal is. Envision what that feels like. Remember what you see. Each little success and failure…each little action…is making that vision come to life.

    With consistent action, you’ll build something and be something. I don’t know what. But you won’t be who you are right now. And for a lot of us, that’s a win.

    No one is telling you to do everything. Just little things. It starts when you are ready. Irrespective of how you feel or what you are waiting for.

    Be Bold. Be Honest. Be in Control.

    The mind is very powerful. What you think, what you imagine, what you see, what you visualize, shapes how you feel, what you do, and the person you are and who you strive to be.

    If you are focusing on the negative, spend some time to actively change your thoughts toward your goals or who you want to be and what you want in your life.

    Imagine what it feels like to achieve or have what you believe you deserve and what you want.

    Imagine that you have already achieved it and embrace that feeling.

    Chase that rather than chasing your problems or your past.

    This is how you become alpha (male or female, man or woman).

    Look, I get it, life isn’t always going to be great. There are going to be good times and bad times. But what happens in the bad times is going to determine whether you stay where you are or whether you level up.

    It’s easy to blame other people for your problems.

    I don’t think everyone makes excuses, and I’m sure some people have real valid reasons for what they are saying when life doesn’t turn out how they expect…but a lot of people would rather blame something or someone rather than be honest with themselves.

    • And it’s time to figure out a solution.

    Yea, it’s not going to be easy. What is?

    Easy is for losers. Easy is what happens after you put in the work. It’s for the people that just want to get by. The one’s that wish they had more.

    If you’re looking for easy, then just keep sitting and doing nothing. That’s pretty easy, isn’t it? How does it feel? Does it feel good? Or do you feel like a loser? Because you are doing nothing. But it’s easy. That’s what you wanted, right?

  • Why I Am A Dick

    Why James King is a DICK.

    I know some of you read my posts on forums replying to messages or even some of my blog postings and say to yourself “This guy is a fucking dick.” I admit that I can be an asshole sometimes, but it’s not because I just want to be an asshole.

    My entire life has not been alpha. However, I learned early on in my teens that the only way to get what you want is to leave your ego at the door. And to succeed sometimes you need to be a dick. You can’t just do what’s asked of you your whole life and expect that to be enough. As a leader you need to tell others what they should be doing and that sometimes comes off as an asshole. But it’s an asshole that one respects or despises. Either way, it weeds out the beta males that aren’t ready to succeed at all costs and the advice gets through to those ready for change.

    As someone that has probably been in your position before that has been more passive a debt. I understand that criticism is hard to take. But I’m sick of guys trying to “baby” one another and sympathize with each other. It does no one any good if two beta males just pat each other on the back and say “don’t worry…” because fuck that, you should worry. You should want to surround yourself with people better than you, people that can motivate and inspire you, that somehow can tell you what other people won’t tell you. You need that honesty to improve.

    I could tell you all day long that “it’s okay, you’re getting there pal!” But I’d be lying to you. I think a lot of you guys waste your fucking time analyzing creative scenarios in your head. I think a lot of you spend too much time worrying about shit that isn’t going to happen. I’ve been there, I know what it feels like. It’s not fun. It’s fucking miserable.

    I don’t want you to be here or on any other self-help website a year from now searching for the same answers. I want you to be the person giving advice and answers to the new guys that need help. That’s my ultimate goal. And if it takes being a dick to get through to you, then so be it. But if you’re going to get all emotional and be a bitch because I’m being honest and upfront with you and you can’t take it…then come back when you’re ready.

    With self-help sometimes you need thick skin because you’re going to face some challenges as you go through your journey. I’m not the guy to help everyone. I’m the guy that will help those that are hungry…or maybe even starving…ready to take the bulls by the horn and make that change – whatever it takes. 

    I’ll close by apologizing to all those that get offended by me being a dick. I am sorry. I want to help you, but you’re not ready. I can’t spend my time making you feel better about yourself. There are guys that want real raw help that are willing to take the advice and run with it. Those are the guys I want to focus my time on.
